Effects of Pressure On Circulation

The following graphs illustrate the effects of pressure on circulation. Poor circulation means that needed blood flow is not reaching certain cells of the body in quantities sufficient to keep them healthy. The result is that the body needs to toss and turn to prevent those cells from literally being suffocated, thus interupting the precious sleep cycle. Prolonged loss of blood flow can lead to cellular deterioration and degeneration in the affected members of the body.
